Formerly known affectionately to Bali frequent flyers as “Mick’s Place”, this intimate boutique clifftop resort is now under new ownership and is opening the calendar for weddings in 2024. The name “Mata Bingin” refers to this venue’s prime location on the very front-centre tip of Bingin Beach’s iconic clifftop. Quite literally “the eye” (mata) of Bingin. The sunset views from this location are out of this world. The resort has held onto its original charm as it’s evolved over the years since the 90s. The decor is boutique and beach at the same time, elegant and relaxed. The perfect spot for an intimate wedding for anything from 20 up to 50 guest ceremonies. The new addition of a panoramic wooden decking wrapping around the cliff extends this intimate space with capacity to cater for an ocean-front seated reception dinner for up to 100 guests.
